Welcome to your Local RSPCA
Based in the Warwickshire area we are affiliated to the RSPCA name, but we are an independent committee run branch that relies on the support and donations of the public to perform the work we do for all animals in our area.
South and East Warwickshire RSPCA consisted of four areas:
Warwick, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, and Stratford Upon Avon with one inspector for each area. The only way to contact the inspector was to call their home telephone at set times, otherwise a tape recorded message gave advice.
One of the original inspectors for this area arranged to hire a room in the Salvation Army building on Russell Street, this enabled the branch secretary back then to open up in the morning each day to the public for enquiries.
